As Puyam is very special to Sri Subrahmanya Swami, temple used to celebrate Puyam day of Makara month with special pooja, Abishekam, Subrahmanya sahasranama archana along with a host of activities. Very auspicious day to visit temple.

Shasti

Sashti Vratham is observed on the sixth day of the waxing phase of moon (ShuklaPaksha) in a Hindu month. Special poojas are undertaken at this day in the temple. It is believed that Vratham observed on this day makes one’s married life successful.

Remembrance of Temple Renovation

The efforts to renovate the temple and bring back to the glory started on August 15 of 1990. August 15 is celebrated as the day of remembrance now. Special Pooja, Archana and Annadanamis held at the temple on this day.
